Tarter & Meeks announce engagement

Mr. and Mrs. Billy Tarter and Mr. and Mrs. Mark Meeks are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their children, Ashley Tarter and Tony Meeks.

Ashley is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clifton J. Gibson, Somerset, Mrs. Hattie Tarter and the late Ezra Dubbin Tarter, Nancy.

Ashley is a 2004 graduate of Southwestern High School and a 2008 graduate of the University of Kentucky where she received her bachelors of arts in psychology.

She will be pursuing a master’s degree in psychology.

Tony is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Carmack, Somerset, and Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Meeks, Harrodsburg, and great-grandson of Annabelle Emerson, Liberty.

Tony is a 2004 graduate of Pulaski County High School and a 2008 graduate of the University of Kentucky where he received a bachelor’s degree in business finance.

The wedding will take place Sunday, June 22, 2008, at 4 p.m. at Bluff Mountain Inn in Pigeon Forge, Tenn.

All friends and family are welcomed.

If interested in attending, please contact family for directions by Saturday, June 7, 2008.

Afterwards, the couple will reside in Somerset.
