Hargis & Lashley announce engagement; plans under way for a June wedding

Chloe and Joey Hargis of Somerset are pleased to announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Lindsey Raye, to Steven Cole Lashley, son of Glynne and Charles Lashley Jr. of Somerset.

Lindsey is the granddaughter of Dorwin and Kathleen Hargis of Somerset and the late Charles Jr. and Ruth Stephens of Whitley City, Ky.

Steven is the grandson of Charles Lashley Sr. of Chicago, Ill., and the late Donna Lashley and the late Olin and Fannie Huff of London, Ky.

Steven is a 2003 graduate of Somerset High School.

He is employed by Amcon Construction Products Inc. of Somerset and is a member of the Parkers Mill Volunteer Fire Department.

Lindsey is a 2003 graduate of Southwestern High School and a 2007 graduate of Lindsey Wilson College with a bachelor of arts degree in communications.

She is employed by Cumberland Security Bank of Somerset.

The wedding will be held June 20, 2009, at half past 4 o’clock in the afternoon at East Somerset Baptist Church.

A reception will immediately follow in the church’s fellowship hall.

Formal invitations have been sent.
