Kidd & Burdine announce wedding

Stephen Brett Kidd, Somerset, and Heather Nicole Burdine, Somerset, wish to announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.

Heather is the daughter of Jana (and Wayne) Gastineau, Somerset, and the late James Timothy Burdine, Somerset.

Heather is a 2004 graduate of Somerset High School and a 2008 graduate of the University of Kentucky with a bachelor’s degree in social work.

She is employed with the Truancy Assessment Center in Lexington.

Heather will be pursuing a master’s degree in social work in the fall.

Brett is the son of Paul Kidd, Pine Knot, and Tonya West, Pine Knot, and the nephew of Jack and Janice Waters, Somerset.

Brett is a 2004 graduate of Southwestern High School and a 2008 graduate of the University of Kentucky with a bachelor’s degree in biology.

The wedding ceremony will take place at 2 p.m. August 2, 2008, at Beacon Hill Baptist Church.

All friends and family are welcome to attend.
