Ard & Maffett announce engagement

Tommy and Mary Lou Ard of Faubush are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Ashley Renee Ard, to Jordan Survant Maffett.

Mr. Maffett is the son of Gloria and Kevin Wingfield of Orlando, Fla., and Phillip and Sondra Maffett of Richmond, Ky.

Grandparents of the bride are Ruth Roy of Faubush and the late Eugene Roy and the late Lincoln and Sylvia Ard.

Grandparents of the groom are Emma Frances McClanahon of Georgetown and the late Howard Ray McClanahon and the late Aubrey Phillip and Dorothy Maffett.

Ashley is a 2005 graduate of Madison Central High School and is employed at Growing Together Preschool in Lexington.

Jordan is a 2000 graduate of Madison Central High School and is employed at Integrated Sign & Graphics Co., Lexington.

The wedding will be held August 16, 2008, 3:30 p.m. Eastern Standard Time at the picnic shelter on Red Oak Drive, Jabez, Ky.

All friends and family are invited to attend.
