Randy Marie Logsdon, Somerset, and Derek Marcel Smalley, Elizabethtown, Ky., were united in marriage July 18, 2008, at the Garden Court at Presbyterian Theological Seminary in Louisville.
The officiant was Ryan Atwood.
The bride was given in marriage by her father, Randall Logsdon.
She wore a sleek cream-colored satin gown reminiscent of old Hollywood glamour with rouching at the bodice and a small rhinestone embellishment at the waist.
The bride’s bouquet was her favorite flowers, fresh green orchids.
Courtney Turley, friend of the bride, Louisville, served as maid of honor.
Serving as bridesmaids was Micaela Smalley of Elizabethtown, sister of the groom.
They wore simple satin mid-length dresses with rouching at the waist in a medium shade of aqua.
Xaviara Smalley of Elizabeth, the groom’s sister, was flower girl.
Best man was Leonard Brown, Louisville, friend of the groom.
Tyler Logsdon of Somerset, the bride’s brother, was the groomsman.
A reception was held at Hundley Hall at Garden Court, Louisville.
Upper Crust Catering catered the event.
Musicians was the Highland Chamber Players.
A rehearsal dinner was held Thursday, July 17, at Shogun Japanese Restaurant and hosted by the groom’s parents.
Daniel Canales was the photographer.
The bride is the daughter of Randall and Lisa Logsdon of Somerset.
The groom’s parents are Ronald and Roxanne Smalley, Elizabethtown.
The couple spent two days at the Marriott in Louisville then spent seven days at their vacation home on Lake Cumberland.
They currently reside in Elizabethtown.
