Carte & Conley announce wedding

Tory Carte and Brandon Conley wish to announce their upcoming marriage.

Ms. Carte is the daughter of Larry Carte and Jimmy and Levonna Sams of Williamsburg, Ky. She is the granddaughter of the late Ralph and Magdalene Carte of Belle, W. Va., the late Troy Cupp and the late Dessie Cupp Jones and Raymond Jones of Corbin, Ky.; the step-granddaughter of the late Farmer and Buena Sams of Manchester, Ky.

She is the sister of Ralph Carte of Williamsburg, Ky., and the step-sister of Tracy Smith and Kari Sams of Manchester, Ky., and the aunt of McKayla Chesnutt of Manchester, Ky.

Tory is currently the owner of Small Wonders Childcare Center in Science Hill, Ky., and a member of Potters Place Ministry in Somerset.

Mr. Conley is the son of Doug and Terri Conley and Rick Wallace of Somerset. He is the great-grandson of Grace Cooke of Somerset; the grandson of Charles and Betty Wallace of Ferguson, William G. “Buc” and Carol Wilson of Somerset and Jane Conley of Somerset.

He is the brother of Meagan and Morgan Conley of Somerset, Josh and Shaylee Wallace of Ferguson and Matthew Hargis of Russell Springs.

Brandon is employed at Cumberland Millwork and Supply in Bronston, Ky., and a member of Potters Place Ministry in Somerset.

The wedding ceremony will be at 5:30 in the evening on September 20, 2008, at First Christian Church in Somerset.
