West & Stamper announce engagement

Mr. and Mrs. Walter West of Somerset, Ky., are pleased to announce the engagement of their son, Kyle O’Neal West, to Jessica Ann Stamper, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Stamper of Midland, Mich.

The groom-to-be is a 2002 graduate of Pulaski County High School. He attended Eastern Kentucky University and in December 2006 graduated with a BA in public relations.

He is currently employed with American Building Components as an inside sales coordinator in Nicholasville, Ky.

He is the grandson of Tom and Vanessa Swetnam of Somerset and the late Henry and Gladys West of Monticello, Ky.

The bride-to-be graduated from Midland High School, Midland, Mich., in 2001. She attended Eastern Kentucky University and in May 2007 graduated with a BA in public relations.

She is currently attending Eastern Kentucky University to pursue an associates degree in nursing.

She is the granddaughter of Roy and Mary Dixon of Cleveland, Ohio, and Garnett Stamper and the late Kenneth Stamper of Olive Hill, Ky.

The wedding is planned for November 14, 2009, at 2 p.m. at the Cathedral of Christ the King in Lexington, Ky.
