Caron & Shoap to wed September 17, 2011

— Christina Caron of Somerset, Ky., and Daniel Shoap, also of Somerset, along with their parents, wish to announce their forthcoming marriage on Saturday, September 17, 2011.

Christina is the daughter of Deana and the late Jeff Caron of Somerset. She is the granddaughter of Bert and Dean Bastin of Somerset and Bonnie and the late Bobby Caron of Yosemite, Ky.

She is a 2008 graduate of Pulaski County High School. Christina received her associate degree from Somerset Community College in 2009 and is currently enrolled at Western Kentucky University where she will complete her bachelor’s degree of science with a concentration of food, nutrition and wellness in December 2011.

She is currently employed by Gigi’s Cupcakes of Bowling Green, Ky.

Daniel is the son of Tammy and Wayne Bastin of Somerset and Mark and Pam Shoap of Chambersburg, Pa. He is the grandson of Buren and Oma Turner of Shopville, Ky., Pastor Paul and Hazel Bastin of Yosemite, Ky., the late Harper JR and Marion Shoap of Chambersburg, Pa., and Paul and Brenda Little of Chambersburg.

Daniel is a 2004 graduate of Pulaski County High School. He is currently finishing his bachelor’s degree in physical education at Western Kentucky University.

Daniel is currently employed by Cheddar’s Casual Cafe in Bowling Green.

The two will unite in marriage September 17, 2011, at 5:30 in the evening at Southern Heights Christian Church in Somerset.

The couple will reside in Bowling Green.
