This official replica of the Batmobile used in the 1966-1968 “Batman” television show, on loan from the Volo Auto Museum in Volo, Illinois, drew quite the crowd Saturday during the July Somernites Cruise in downtown Somerset. Fans old and young alike were delighted to see the popular television series’ crime-fighting vehicle, which is what Adam West (as Batman) and Burt Ward (as Robin) used as their main mode of travel in their skirmishes with such villains as the Joker, Catwoman, the Riddler, and the Penguin.
