The crashing and smashing of the Demolition Derby will return to the 2007 version of the Pulaski County Fair this Wednesday, July 25, and Friday, July 27.
The Large and Small cars will be competing for the top prizes during the event as Paul’s Discount and Pepsi night returns to the Fair. The Large cars will compete for $1,200 to win for the Feature event and the Small cars will be competing for the $750 top prize.
A complete show of Heats, Consolations and the Feature events are slated for each night. The Heat races also pay $40 to win for the Large cars and Small cars receiving $30 to win. The first and second place finishers from the Consolation event will transfer to the main event.
Technical inspection will begin at 3 p.m. and action starts at 7 p.m. each night.
The K.T.P.A. Sanctioned Tractor and Truck pull returns to the main track slated for Saturday, July 28, with main action starting at 7:30 p.m.
The Pro Farm Tractors, Economy Hot Rod Tractors, Pro Stock 4WD, Pro-Stock 2WD and Super Modified 4WD classes will be competing for the top prize during the annual event. The event is sponsored by McGowan Excavating of Nancy.
