East Oak Street blocked by truck after hitting pole

Truck and pole — Traffic on East Oak Street and Maple Street was hindered by an accident involved a semi truck which broke a utility pole trying to turn. Shantel Skyye Louden, 31, of Cayce, SC, was drving a truck for Averitt Express carrying Kingsford Charcoal was trying to turn on East Oak Street when she struck the pole, a primarily utility pole for the downtown area, according to the Somerset Police Department.
