Two local men were arrested on Pulaski Circuit Court warrants Monday in connection with the burglary and theft of a Woodstock residence.

John W. Bingham III, 32, of Eubank, and Timothy L. Hogue, 29, Somerset, were arrested on indictments, which were the result of an investigation into a December 2006 invasion of a Ky. 39 residence located in the Woodstock community. Each man was charged with first-degree burglary, theft by unlawful taking (firearm), and two counts of tampering with physical evidence.

The investigation was conducted by Det. John Hutchison of the Criminal Investigation Division, who presented the findings to a Pulaski County Grand Jury to deliver the indictments.

Both men were lodged in the Pulaski County Detention Center on a $25,000 cash or property bond.

In other Sheriff’s Department activity:

• Joshua V. Kelsey, 24, of Somerset, was arrested Monday on a Pulaski Circuit Court warrant on indictment and charged with first-degree burglary.

The indictment was the result of an investigation into a residential burglary on Hickory Nut Road earlier this year. The investigation revealed that Kelsey had allegedly entered the residence and stolen a firearm.

Kelsey was lodged in the Pulaski County Detention Center on a $50,000 cash bond.

• Franklin W. Bell, 36, of Hamilton, Ohio, was arrested this weekend on numerous counts after a traffic stop by Deputy Steve Molen and Burnside Police Officer Mike Hill.

While on patrol in the southern part of the county, Molen encountered a 1979 Chevrolet heading south on U.S 27 while driving recklessly, according to the Sheriff’s Department. Once pulled over, the driver, Bell, was determined to be intoxicated. Investigation revealed that Bell had marijuana and Xanax pills in his possession and also lied to the officers about his correct name during the search.

Bell was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, failure to maintain required insurance, operating a motor vehicle on a suspended license, third-degree possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, and giving an officer a false name. Bell was lodged in the Pulaski County Detention Center.

• Rafel M. Robinson, 25, of Somerset, was arrested on a Pulaski Circuit Court warrant and charged with flagrant non-support, for failing to pay what was ordered by the court. Robinson was lodged in the Pulaski County Detention Center on a $3,000 full cash bond.

• Tyler B. Cox, 23, of Oklahoma City, Okla., was arrested yesterday on a Pulaski Circuit Court warrant for probation violation. He was lodged in the Pulaski County Detention Center on a $25,000 cash bond.

• Michael C. Neely, 22, Somerset was arrested last week on a Pulaski Circuit Court warrant on indictment for attempting to obtain a controlled substance by fraud. He was lodged in the Pulaski County Detention Center on a $25,000 cash or property bond.
