The search for a missing girl ended at the residence of her male companion yesterday.

The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Department had been investigating a report of a missing 15-year-old since Sunday. The girl’s parents said she was missing from her residence and might have run away.

Based on information provided by the girl’s parents, the investigation focused on Terrence Jones II, 19, a male acquaintance of the girl.

Deputies interviewed Jones on Monday, but he denied knowing the whereabouts of the girl.

On Wednesday, however, she was found in Jones’ Grand Central Apartments residence.

Jones was arrested and charged with unlawful transaction with a minor, 3rd degree. He was also served with a Pulaski District Court warrant charging him with four counts of sexual misconduct due to his involvement with the girl.

He was lodged in the Pulaski County Detention Center.

The girl was also taken into custody on a Pulaski District Court order for pickup and was charged with being a runaway.
