It’s February, and love is in the air! For the second year in a row, the Commonwealth Journal invites you to share what you love about Pulaski County.

Does your heart race when you ski on Lake Cumberland? Do you melt at the sight of your favorite bakery? Does your spine tingle as you shop the local flea markets? Or maybe there’s a friendly bank teller who warms your heart.

This is your chance to tell the world — or at least fellow readers — exactly what you love about your hometown.

Send your response in an e-mail to:

tneal@somerset-kentucky.com (subject line: What I Love)

or mail it to the Commonwealth Journal, attn. Tricia Neal, P.O. Box 859, Somerset, Ky., 42502.

Please keep your answers brief — five sentences or less. You may also include your name and location for possible inclusion with your response. Make sure we receive your response by 4 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 12.

We’ll compile a list of Pulaski County’s most lovable people, places, things and qualities, and publish it in the Sunday, Feb. 14, edition of our paper.

Now, what are you waiting for? Share the love!
