The American Cancer Society's 10th annual "Denim & Diamonds" event will be held on Thursday, August 15th from 6pm-10pm at the Center for Rural Development in Somerset. This year's theme is just "Denim and Diamonds" which was the original theme when it started ten years ago.

The fundraiser is a Girls Night Out for ladies with glitz & glam and all for a great cause. The event will include local vendors, food catered by Get UR Smoke On, DJ music with Eric Pickett, silent auction, shoe contests and more. This year's Master of Ceremonies will once again be John Alexander.

In addition, there will be special "Light of Hope" glass luminarias to honor or remember someone touched by cancer and available at the event for a $20 donation to the American Cancer Society.

Ticket holders will also have the opportunity to win a 1 carat diamond ring ,which will be sized to fit the winner. This is donated by Mark and Lisa Pilcher with Diamond Design Jewelers.

Tickets are now on sale. Limited number of tickets and no tickets are sold at the door. Individual tickets are a $45 donation to the American Cancer Society. Reserved Tables for 8 are also still available for a $350 donation.
