Enjoy dinner and a show at the next Center Stage performance of the timeless classic play, “On Golden Pond,” on Tuesday, Feb. 20, at The Center for Rural Development.
A catered Pre-Show dinner will be served, starting at 5:30 p.m., prior to the opening of a new stage performance of “On Golden Pond” by national touring company Montana Repertory Theatre. Curtain time is 7 p.m. in the theatre.
Lake Cumberland Performing Arts, in partnership with The Center, is proud to present Ernest Thompson's “On Golden Pond,” a heartwarming story audiences everywhere have fallen in love with from generation to generation.
The play, which first premiered in 1979, has become an American treasure. Moviegoers familiar with the story will remember the Academy Award-winning film starring Henry and Jane Fonda and Katharine Hepburn. Others have attended one of the literally thousands of productions this extraordinary play has received over the years.
The Montana Repertory Theatre, one of the most dynamic and respected touring companies in the country, is introducing “On Golden Pond” to a new generation of theatergoers as part of its 2018 national tour.
The Center for Rural Development is the only site in Kentucky where audiences can view Montana Repertory Theatre's new stage performance of “On Golden Pond.”
Tickets to the Center Stage performance of “On Golden Pond” are $25 for adults and $15 for children and students (preschool through college).
Tickets to the Pre-Show dinner, hosted by The Center for Rural Development and Karen's Catering, are $15 per person. The dinner menu will include Kentucky salad, seasoned chicken breast, buttered new potatoes, country style green beans, flame roasted sweet corn, yeast rolls, assorted desserts, and tea and water.

On Golden Pond is part of the 2017-2018 Center Stage performing arts season presented by Lake Cumberland Performing Arts in partnership with The Center.
