Emergency personnel are on scene at a fatal accident on US 27 in northern Pulaski County.
The accident reportedly occurred at approximately 7 p.m. where the highway intersects with Ky. 1247 in Eubank (near the gas station formerly known as Oran's).
According to Major Jeff Hancock of the Pulaski County Sheriff's Office, the collision involved a van and two motorcycles — each of which carried both an operator and passenger.
One of the cyclists was killed at the scene. The others were being treated and assessed by Somerset-Pulaski County EMS, with air ambulance transport expected for at least two.
Maj. Hancock added that traffic may be diverted around that section of US 27 for some time as deputies Dan Pevley and Marcus Harrison work to reconstruct the collision.
