Pulaski County High School sophomore softball standout Riley Hull was named second team All-State in Class AAA by the Kentucky High School Softball Coaches Association, while Lady Maroons junior Eva Gover was named All-State Honorable Mention.

Hull, who has already committed to Mississippi State University, was recently honored with the Johnny Bench Award as the best softball catcher in the state of Kentucky. Hull, who was named All-State Honorable Mention last season, had a batting average of .589 for the season, scored 48 runs, drove in 54 runs, hit 17 doubles and maintained a .622 on-base percentage fro the year.

Gover was recently named to the Kentucky Junior All-Star team, which will play this weekend at the University of the Cumberlands. Gover had a .490 batting average this season, scored 35 runs, drove in 50 runs, hit five homers, and maintained a .536 on-base percentage.
