After becoming the program's all-time leading scorer, Somerset High School senior Kade Grundy later became the first Briar Jumper basketball player to score 2,000 career points. During the week, Grundy scored a game-high 31 points against Wayne County High School, scored 21 points at Henry Clay High School, and 15 points against Somerset Christian School.
