The Pulaski County Maroons ran their record to a perfect 5-0 on the season last night with another dominating performance, thanks to a 54-14 win over Rockcaslte County.

Quarterback Riley Hall continued his torrid assault through the air, throwing three touchdown passes to George Gregory of 18, 46, and 23 yards respectively, while Aaron Smith continued his domination on the ground game with a pair of long TD runs in the third quarter – one from 49 yards and one from 55 yards.

Defensively, PC continued its ball-hawking ways, as the Maroons picked off Rockcastle’s Corey McPhetridge four times, with one of those picks going for a 25-yard return for a touchdown from Jake Hudson.

Jacob Denney added a 3-yard TD run for another score and came up with one of those interceptions, while Jake Roberts and Gregory each had an interception as well.

PC grabbed the lead in the opening period and never looked back, as Hall and Gregory hooked up for a pair of TD passes in the first quarter, as the Maroons built up a 13-8 lead after one period of play.

For the game, Hall completed 12-19 passes for 188 yards with those 3 TD’s.

Gregory had 4 receptions for 109 yards and 3 TD’s, while Jake Johnson hauled in six catches for 67 yards.
